  • Do you have someone else that will be helping you gather information or a second point of contact:

  • Are we waiting for something to happen with your credit or credit report? Did you recently pay off any debt or take out any new debt? Any concerns or comments for us?
  • Are you hourly or salary(salary/hourly/commission/self-employed/non-standard, etc)
  • Only fill out if you are paid yearly vs hourly
  • Tell us as much as you can so we can structure everything correctly.
    If you have more than one job, how long have you worked at each job you have? If you own a business, what can you tell us about your business, etc.
  • Where are the funds needed to close coming from, what is the timing if funds are being moved, are you receiving a gift from a relative?
  • Do you have any retirement accounts, what type and what is the approximate balance?
  • Cash, Money owed to you, Sale of personal property or vehicles, Money from a friend etc are not normally allowed to be deposited into your bank accounts when you are buying a home. Loans from private sources may or may not be allowed to be used or deposited into your bank accounts when you are buying a home. Were you planning on using any of these types of assets? Please explain?
  • What type of property are you buying? Condo vs Single Family vs Townhome vs Twin Home. Does the property have any association fee and how much is it?
  • What is the address of the property you are buying or refinancing? Please include unit numbers, etc
  • When do you work? Do you not answer calls during the day and prefer email? Who is the main point of contact? Do you wish you could move up closing? How often would you like to be updated in a perfect world, etc. Remember, Most of the operations people can not use text messaging.
    What can you tell us to make this the best experience possible for you?
  • Anything other, such as bankruptcy or child support, vacations you will be going on, new jobs that you will be starting, etc. What do we need to know for the loan?
