The Nolachuckey District will be hosting a Leader Training session for all Cub Scout Leaders. Cub Leader Specific Training provides the basic tools and skills to provide your Cub Scouts with an exciting and meaningful experience which conforms to the BSA Program Goals and Policies and is required to be considered a "trained" leader.
Leader Specific Training will provide valuable information and enhance necessary skills all leaders need to carry out their functions as Committee Chair, Committee Member, Tiger Cub Leader, Assistant Tiger Cub Leader, Den Leader, Assistant Den Leader, Webelos Leader, or Assistant Webelos Leader. Specific Training helps explain the duties and privileges of each of these leadership positions and explain how they work together to accomplish the aims, principles, and methods of the Boy Scouts of America. Specific Training will also provide an opportunity for fellowship between leaders, an open exchange of ideas and help to establish a support network. Come and learn in a fun and enjoyable environment.
For training it is suggested that you bring notepaper, pen or pencil, a sense of humor, and a willingness to learn.
All courses will be held on Saturday, July 30th, 2016 at Camp Davy Crockett.
Registration due by July 25th – $5 per course
