Eligibility
To be eligible for a bursary for Congress 2023 registration, you must qualify as an Early Career Professional or a person with lived experience.
Early Career Professional Bursary: applicants must be working in the housing/homelessness sector and be 30 years of age or under at the time of application, or a full-time student of any age whose studies have a housing focus.
Lived Experience Bursary: Applicants may be currently or have been formerly homeless, experienced poverty or been a subsidized tenant
NOTE: We cannot guarantee that all who apply for the bursary will be approved. We will assess applications on a case-by-case basis and inform applicants of the status of their application promptly.
Here are the points that we need to make about the Congress Bursaries:
1. The bursary will cover ANY of the CHRA programming at Congress. The money is given on a first come, first served basis.
2. While we will not be covering travel costs to come to the Congress, we will provide a special room rate of $109 per person/ per night
