Seller Participation & Promotion
UPDATED FEBRUARY 2025: To ensure a successful sale, a $20 monthly marketing fee will be charged and deducted directly from your account or payout. This fee helps cover costs for marketing efforts such as Facebook ads, printed flyers, yard signs, and more.
While it's not required as it was in the past, I would absolutely LOVE if you could share the event a few times each month that your items are included in the sale. Spreading the word helps increase visibility and bring in more buyers, ultimately benefiting everyone involved. Your support means the world to me!
LLPB Consignment Fee
Locals (Palm Beach, Martin, & St. Lucie Counties): LLPB retains 30% of each sale.
Out-of-Town Sellers (all other counties/states): LLPB retains 35% of each sale.
Please note: LLPB’s consignment software calculates payouts by first applying the seller percentage (30% or 35%), and then automatically applying the Month 2 (20% off) and Month 3 (30% off) discounts to that payout. This ensures accurate and consistent reporting.
Items to Sell & Condition
All items must show no signs of wear, no alterations, and must come from a pet-free and smoke-free home. Items may be New Without Tags (NWOT) or New With Tags (NWT). Anything showing wear, damage, or flaws will not be accepted.
Accepted items include:
Women’s & children’s clothing (Minnies)
Jewelry & accessories
New or like-new shoes (no visible wear)
Men’s clothing & swimwear
Women’s swimsuits (must be NWT or NWOT with liner intact)
⚠️ Please no heavy sweaters between March and September.
? Seasonal Note: Sweaters must be picked up by the end of the March sale or they will be automatically donated.
You’re welcome to drop off/mail in up to 50 clothing items (more with prior approval) and an unlimited number of accessories. Shoes must be in their original boxes; if not, a $2 fee per pair will be applied to cover replacement boxes.
It is the seller’s responsibility to thoroughly review all items prior to drop-off or mailing. Clothing must be free of flaws such as fading, pilling, stains, alterations, holes, missing buttons, broken zippers, pulled threads, pet hair/dander, discoloration, or strong odors. Shoes must show no signs of wear, and accessories must be free of scuffs, peeling, or missing embellishments. Any items not meeting these standards will not be accepted and will be donated rather than returned.
? Please note: Submission of items does not guarantee inclusion in the upcoming sale. Inventory selection is based on available rack space, seasonal balance, boutique curation, and overall presentation needs. Some items may be held for a future event at LLPB’s discretion.
Three-Month Commitment (Updated October 2024)
Month 1: Items listed at tagged price
Month 2: 20% discount on unsold items
Month 3: 30% discount on remaining items
? Discounts are calculated from the tag price, and the tag price already includes LLPB’s processing / surcharge fee. This ensures consistent and transparent payout reporting.
At the end of the three-month commitment, any unsold items will be pulled. Sellers can choose to either pick them up or have them donated (chosen at drop-off). Items cannot be picked up during the active commitment period.
Once your items have been picked up, you may request a payout by completing the payout request form on the Seller Hub of my website. Payouts are processed in the fourth month and issued the week after the sale, once pickup or donation preferences are confirmed.
Please note: Any items marked as picked up on the form but left behind will be assumed donated, as I’m unable to store items.
Simplified Fee Structure
The registration fee is replaced with a $2 per-item charge each month, deducted from your payout. This fee covers operational costs, including the seller portal, credit card machines, signage, etc.
Item Tagging & Portal Use
LLPB handles entering all items into the portal and pricing them based on what has historically sold in the boutique.
Sellers do not receive portal access, as past access led to confusion and unintentional pricing changes. During the sale, the register operates in “register mode,” not “admin mode,” so seller account details or item information are not available at checkout.
Pricing Information: Think APS / Sunshine Sale pricing — Shifts $50–$60, cotton dresses $40–$50, shorts $25. Minimum 60% below retail.
Tags include processing fees. Each seller receives a unique ID number.
? It is recommended that sellers watch the most recent “Last Chance Live” of resale
weekend or attend a resale weekend in person to get familiar with current pricing at LLPB.
Payments, W-9s & Taxes
Sales Tax: Collected and remitted on your behalf.
W-9 Form: Required annually for payouts. Failure to submit will place your payout on hold.
Payouts: May be requested via the Seller Hub online. Processed the week after resale weekend during the fourth month, once inventory is picked up or donated. E-payments issued via direct deposit ($10 fee applies). No checks.
Seller Update Form: This form has been removed. Seller account status updates are no longer provided. A detailed payout summary will be sent when your payout is issued.
Unclaimed Payouts: Payouts not requested within 90 days of becoming eligible will be considered forfeited and donated to the monthly charity.
No early or partial payouts under any circumstances.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up Information
Location: Lilly Lovers of the Palm Beaches, 1441 10th Street, Palm Beach Gardens (appears as Lake Park).
Drop-Off:
No appointments required.
Quick 5-minute process — transfer items to a bin and complete drop-off form. Any bags or bins left are donated.
⚠️ Important:
Items received after the official seller drop-off period concludes may not be included in the upcoming sale.
Not all items are guaranteed to be displayed in the upcoming sale. Inventory decisions are based on space, rack availability, seasonal demand, and boutique balance. Items may be held for a future event at LLPB’s discretion.
Mail-In Sellers: Items must be shipped with tracking and insurance. Tracking must be texted to 561-813-1441 as soon as the package is sent. LLPB is not responsible for lost or damaged packages in transit.
Pick-Up:
Items are part of a three-month commitment.
Fourth month: collect unsold items.
Mixed brand items must be picked up the month following the sale.
Options: 1 hour before book club, during seller drop-off times, or while shopping during resale weekend ($6 door fee applies).
? Seasonal Reminder: Seasonal items, including sweaters, are not stored past March and will be donated after the March sale.
Unclaimed items not picked up in the designated window will automatically be donated. No exceptions.
Additional Seller Terms
Authenticity
All items must be authentic. Inspired designs are welcome, but replicas, knockoffs, or counterfeit items are not permitted. Sellers are fully responsible for authenticity and any legal consequences that may arise.
Right to Refuse
LLPB reserves the right to refuse any items that do not meet condition, authenticity, or pricing standards. LLPB cannot hold items or store unsold inventory beyond the designated pickup period. Sellers who engage in disrespectful or inappropriate behavior may be declined from future participation.
Florida Identification Requirement
Per Florida law governing secondhand dealers, a copy of the seller’s valid driver’s license (or government-issued ID) must be taken and kept on file with each consignment transaction. Sellers mailing in items must include a clear copy with their shipment.
Communication
All official communication must go through the boutique cell phone (561-813-1441).
Email boxes are not monitored — please use text only for all seller communications. Messages sent to Facebook, Instagram, or personal phones will not be considered official.
Deadlines & Forfeiture
Items must be picked up during the designated window. Any items not collected by the deadline will be automatically donated. LLPB cannot hold or store items past this timeframe.
Volunteer & Promotion Clause
Volunteering and event promotion are encouraged, though not required. LLPB reserves the right to prioritize sellers who actively support events for future approvals.
Safety & Liability
LLPB is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur during drop-off, pick-up, or shopping events.
Final Notes
LLPB reserves the right to amend seller policies at any time to remain compliant with Florida resale regulations.
Please understand that I juggle multiple roles — running the boutique, homeschooling, and managing a family business and farm. I ask that all communication be through the boutique cell (561-813-1441) as other avenues may be missed.
Thank you for being part of the LLPB community — your participation helps support local charities and keeps our mission of “Sisterhood, Resale, Purpose” alive each month! ?
