Application for LAMBETH YOUTH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
The Lambeth Youth Symphony Orchestra was formed in 2018 and is an exciting ensemble which regularly performs in professional venues across London.
As part of its continuous drive for musical excellence within the borough, the Lambeth Youth Symphony Orchestra now auditions for advanced local young musicians playing orchestral instruments. When you apply you will be placed on a waiting list will be notified when a vacancy becomes available.
Please complete the application form and prepare for an audition as explained below.
Standard normally required- Grade 4 and above (ABRSM /Trinity)
Place: Clapham Park Centre, Kingswood Road, London, SW2 4JW
What to prepare:
1.A short piece or excerpt that best shows your talents and skills. Up to 3 minutes maximum.
2.You will also be asked to sight-read a short orchestral excerpt.
Please be aware that if you are succesful the cost of the course is:
£63 per term (Full Cost)
£47.25 per term per term (Low income Bursary)
£28.35 per term (Pupil Premium Discount Rate)
