2025-2026 Housing Cancellation Form
This form is required for all students seeking to cancel their 2025–2026 housing contract at Regis University. Submission of this form does not guarantee release from your contract. All requests will be reviewed by the Office of Housing and Residential Engagement.

To be considered, this form must be submitted at least two weeks before your intended move-out date. Students canceling before June 1, 2025, without a housing assignment may be eligible for cancellation without penalty. After June 1, cancellations will only be considered for Authorized Cancellation reasons such as graduation, transfer, withdrawal, study abroad, marriage, medical necessity, or military service.

Please have any required documentation ready to upload when submitting your request.

You will receive communication once a decision has been made. Students remain financially responsible until official approval is granted.

  • I understand that by submitting this form, I am formally requesting to cancel my 2025–2026 housing contract, which is a binding agreement for the full academic year (Fall 2025 through Spring 2026).

If I do not have a housing assignment and submit this request before June 1, 2025, I may cancel without financial penalty.
If I have already been assigned housing or if I submit this request on or after June 1, 2025, I acknowledge that a $300 non-refundable cancellation fee will apply, and I may be subject to additional housing charges in accordance with the university’s Housing Refund Chart, based on the date of my cancellation.

I understand that submitting this form does not guarantee cancellation. My request must be reviewed and approved by the Office of Housing and Residential Engagement. I further acknowledge that only specific reasons—such as graduation, university withdrawal, transfer, medical necessity, military service, marriage, or study abroad—may qualify for an Authorized Cancellation, and documentation will be required.

If I am a first- or second-year student who has not yet met the university’s two-year residency requirement, I understand that I must also submit a separate Housing Exemption Request. Submitting this cancellation form does not release me from that residency requirement.

I agree that I will remain financially responsible for my housing assignment until I receive formal approval of my cancellation request.
  • If you answer "No," you must submit a Housing Exemption Request, available within the housing application. The exemption must be approved to be released from Regis University's on-campus living requirement.
