Professor Kishor Wasan
Professor Kishor Wasan has received numerous honors for his contributions to health sciences, including the Canadian Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences Leadership award for outstanding contributions to Pharmaceutical Sciences in Canada. He is also a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists. Professor Wasan has approximately 240 peer-reviewed publications and 280 abstracts published in the field of lipid-based medication delivery and lipoprotein-drug interactions. Professor Kishor Wasan most recently served as Dean of the University of Saskatchewan's College of Pharmacy and Nutrition from August 2014 to June 2019. Dr. Kishor Wasan headed the research team at the Wasan lab at the University of British Columbia that developed what has become iCo 019, and he will first focus his efforts on furthering the development of iCo 019 through partnerships and collaborations.

Professor Kishor Wasan is also a Distinguished University Scholar, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research/iCo Therapeutics Inc. Research Chair in Drug Delivery for Neglected Global Diseases, and a member of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences, the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, and the Canadian Society of Pharmaceutical Scientists. He is well-known in the postsecondary industry for his research and curriculum reform abilities.
