Apps for in-depth Bible study provide the necessary tools needed to dig out the riches of God’s word right in the palm of your hand. You will learn how to use Bible Hub to study a passage using app study tools. You will need to download this app.
Chapter Summary Method
This method of study involves gaining a general understanding of the contents of a chapter of the Bible. Your will practice repetitive reading, use content questions and summarize central thoughts of the passage, and use other tools to help you better understand a chapter of the Bible.
Verse-Mapping Method
Verse-mapping is a way to study a particular Bible verse or passage by analyzing the context and words to better understand the meaning. You will look up verses in various translations, cross-reference words and phrases, discover the why/who/how/when/where of the passage, and will make it fun and colorful. It can be as creative or analytical as you choose. If you have a Study Bible, please bring it.
Topical/Theme Method
This method traces either a topic or a Biblical theme throughout the Bible to gain God’s perspective, instruction, understanding, and personal application. You will be provided a study Bible, an exhaustive concordance, and a topical Bible as you explore themes. If you have a Study Bible, please bring it.
Character Quality Study Method
By identifying the negative and positive traits of various characters in the Bible, this method helps provide insight into how to avoid or develop certain traits to become more like Christ. You will be provided a study Bible, an exhaustive concordance, and a topical Bible as you explore qualities to either adopt or avoid. If you have a Study Bible, please bring it.
