Open A Warranty Claim
Read the following first:
Is your vehicle overheating? If YES, shut it OFF, do not drive.
Is your vehicle's service or check engine light/icon flashing?
If YES, shut it off soon.
Is your RED brake light illuminated on the dash? If Yes, check
the parking brake foot lever or brake handle and make sure
it is all the way in the off position. If this doesn't solve the
issue, DO NOT drive the vehicle as there may be a leak in
the braking system.
If your check engine/service engine light or icon is on solid,
do not panic. A sensor is out of specs. Have your mechanic
check it if the vehicle was purchased more than 30 days ago.
If purchased less than 30 days ago, open a claim.
If your amber ABS light or icon is on solid, do not panic.
Have your mechanic check it if the vehicle was purchased
more than 30 days ago. If purchased less than 30 days ago,
open a claim.
SUMMARY OF COVERED REPAIRS. Your written warranty is the legal document that governs what is covered and at
30 Days: 4x4 electronics, intake gaskets, service engine light, ABS/traction control light, exhaust, serpentine belts and pulleys, timing belt, fuel pump, water pump, power steering pump, starter, battery, alternator.
6 months: Air conditioners, CV shafts, hub bearings, drive shafts.
36 month/36,000 miles: Metal parts inside motor lubed by oil, internal head gasket, intake & exhaust manifold, timing chain. All parts inside Transmission/Transaxle, Transfer Case, Front & Rear Differentials. Does not cover gaskets and seals.
