Volunteer and boat registration for the Febraury 19th 2022 Abandoned Crab Trap Removal event in Anahuac and Bolivar is now closed.
The statewide crab trap closure period runs from February 18th to February 27th. If you have a boat, or know someone who has a boat, any good Samaritan can go out on Galveston Bay and collect and dump any crab traps they find during that closure period.
