I had my first Remote or Virtual Assistant experience with the dentist client that I used to work with. I handled back-office tasks such as bookkeeping and adding patients' new insurance that needed to build on the system, I also handled all insurance claims, collection, patient billing and insurance billing, scheduling, Reminded patients of their upcoming schedules, and Outbound and Inbound via calls, email, and SMS for patient's inquiry and scheduling. I was in a Patient Assistant role for six months.
Prior to the Virtual Assistant, I was in a healthcare account as a Customer Service Representative at UnitedHealth Group Handling Medical Insurance for Retired people in the US, I also handled insurance claims and patient billing, up-selling for additional coverage on their plan. Processes were mainly Inbound calls for new customers and existing customers of UnitedHealth Group. I was a Customer Service Representative for 1 year and 4 months.
In 2019, I went to South Korea to be a singer entertainer but because of Covid-19, I had to come back home to the Philippines. I've been working in Customer Service and Technical support for a few years back before I flew to Korea. I was customer service for a bank for 1 year and Technical Support for internet service and printers for a total of 3 years. I also handled Chat Support for Tax software and Sales for Cable accounts based in the US and UK for a total of 1 year.
