*
What conditions are necessary for participants, facilitators, and staff to have a transformative UIFI experience? How would you help create and sustain those conditions as a Co-Lead?
*
Describe a time you helped a group or team navigate conflict, uncertainty, or a significant challenge. What was your approach, and what did you learn from the experience?
*
If selected as a UIFI Co-Lead, what unique strengths, perspectives, or experiences would you bring to the team, and what impact would you hope to have on the 2027 & 2028 UIFI experience?
*
Please provide a facilitation vitae outlining relevant trainings, facilitation experiences, leadership development programs, and other experiences that have prepared you to serve as a UIFI Co-Lead
If you have facilitated a session of UIFI before, please list the (up to) 3 most recent years you were a facilitator:

Facilitator Agreement
Please acknowledge that you agree to the following terms, associated with being a facilitator at UIFI.
I understand that my primary responsibility as a UIFI facilitator is to guide participants through the UIFI experience, supporting their growth as leaders and empowering them to create positive change within their communities.
I agree to contribute to a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment where all participants, facilitators, and staff can learn, grow, and engage fully in the UIFI experience.
I agree to participate in all required facilitator trainings, meetings, and preparation activities provided by AFLV.
I agree to fully engage in the institute experience, including facilitator responsibilities, team meetings, participant activities, and other duties assigned by AFLV staff and the Co-Lead team.
I agree to remain at the host site and actively participate in the institute for its duration unless otherwise approved by AFLV staff.
I understand that UIFI curriculum and materials are the intellectual property of AFLV and agree not to reproduce, distribute, or use them outside of approved UIFI-related activities without written authorization from AFLV.
I understand that UIFI is a substance-free program and agree not to possess, use, or consume alcohol or illegal drugs for the duration of the institute.
I understand that I am expected to uphold the standards of UIFI and AFLV, serve as a positive role model for participants, and conduct myself in a manner that contributes to the integrity of the experience.
I understand that failure to uphold these expectations may result in removal from the facilitation team and dismissal from the institute at my own expense.
