Project Reboot Electronics Recycling Pledge
According the Environmental Protection Agency, only 25 percent of eligible used household electronics are recycled, leaving 3.5 million tons either stored in homes or sent to landfills annually;
More than 70 percent of recycled electronics are manufactured into commodity grade materials for use in buildings, bridges, new electronics and more, helping to preserve natural resources and benefiting the environment; and
Tested and working used electronics are sent to schools, hospitals, and low-income families in the U.S. and around the world granting access to affordable technology,
I pledge to donate and/or recycle my old laptops, cell phones, tablets, and other old electronics using a certified recycler.
