SHOWCASE Team Captains | AFLV Central 2027
The National Black Greek Leadership Conference (NBGLC) & Cultural Greek Experience (CGE) proudly present AFLV Central’s signature organization competition — SHOWCASE! NPHC and CBFO organizations from across the nation will come together to step, stroll, salute, or call for the chance to win prizes and national bragging rights.

A team captain for the SHOWCASE performance is responsible for leading, organizing, and motivating the team throughout the preparation and execution of the performance. Their duties include coordinating practices, ensuring team members learn and perform choreography consistently, managing communication with AFLV Staff, and ensuring compliance with the Showcase expectations.

Here are a few SHOWCASE details that are also good to know before you commit to the team captain role:
• Team must consist of 15 members or less and have a team captain as primary contact.
• One song is allowed per group/performance.
• All teams are allotted 5 minutes or less for their performance.
• Performance can combine different elements of your organization, but must stay within the time limit provided.
• There will be one winner selected from a NPHC organization and one winner from a CBFO organization. The winner will be determined by a crowd vote at the end of the competition.

We are looking to fill 18 team captain spots (9 NPHC & 9 CBFO).

Please apply no later than Friday, January 22nd!
