OODLES OF DOODLES REHOMERS APPLICATION

TO BE COMPLETED BY THE REHOMER - Oodles of Doodles Inc. Rescue Collective will help you if you need to rehome your dog(s) due to unforeseen circumstances by listing and bringing attention to the need.

There are many reasons why people might need to rehome their pet; we just ask that you disclose all the reasons why you need to do this, so we are able to give full disclosure to potential adopters.

The dog(s) should be up to date on all shots and spayed or neutered. You must be able to show these records. We do not Rehome Intact Dogs.

You must be able to keep the dog with you and be willing to look through the applications we send you and do the reference checks and contacting the potential adopters. We will courtesy post or list the dog(s) for you, take applications and forward them, to you.

If you cannot keep the dog until an adopter is found, we may be able to take him/her into our Rescue Program, with further dialog, providing a foster is available. Send a note to rescuecollective@gmail.com to discuss this privately.

PLEASE do not take your dog(s) to a shelter or list him/her on Craigslist, as you will be risking his or her life.

BE WARY if you are contacted by a rescue group calling themselves DRC or Doodle Rescue Collective. They will make false claims and misrepresentations. They will make you surrender your dog to them and they will transport your dog far from your area to far away fosters or adopters. They will also ask over $400 for your dog with claims only they have approved adopters and are in the best position to find a home for your dog. They will also perpetuate lies about our rescue which are completely untrue and proof is available upon asking.

Our Rehome Service is free and all we ask is a donation upon adoption. We will not try to take your dog or make false claims. We will work with you and do our very best for you, your family and your dog(s).

AGREEMENT OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

* I hold Oodles of Doodles, Inc. harmless in any adoption or occurrence involving this dog(s).
* I have read ALL the Terms and Conditions from the Rehoming Services Page on http://oodlesofdoodles.org.
* I agree to inform Oodles of Doodles, Inc. if I sign up with or surrender my dog(s) to another rescue or listing service.
* I understand that I have contacted Oodles of Doodles Rescue Collective at http://oodlesofdoodles.org and not Doodle Rescue Collective (DRC), which is a different organization.
* I agree to examine applications sent by Oodles of Doodles, conduct interviews, check references, conduct home visits and find the best home possible for my dog(s).
*I understand and agree that upon the signing and submission of this agreement, I hereby retain the services of Oodles of Doodles Inc. to find a new, permanent home and family for my dog(s). I acknowledge and agree that I have provided Oodles of Doodles Inc. with any and all accompanying information pertaining to the background, health and temperament of the above-mentioned dog(s) and hereby certify that all information is accurate, truthful and complete.
*I agree to notify my vet they may be contacted by Oodles of Doodles Inc. and acknowledge that in signing this agreement, I grant permission for my vet to release any and all veterinary information and records of the above-mentioned dog(s).
*I understand and agree that as long as the dog(s) remains in my home, he or she is my responsibility and I will not place the dog(s) by any other means such as via Craigslist and/or other online classifieds and/or by seeking the assistance of other rescue organizations or individuals and hereby grant Oodles of Doodles Inc. exclusive rights to list and promote my dog on the Internet via http://oodlesofdoodles.org and on other listing websites.

Oodles of Doodles Rescue Collective is not responsible for choosing adopters, checking references or making final decisions as to where the dogs go. We do ask that you charge some rehome fee as Free to Good homes ads usually do not bring out the best people. We will be happy to discuss this with you privately.

We do not charge for this service but appreciate a donation once adoption is complete. This enables us to continue to offer this as a free service.
