The Latino Social Workers Organization (LSWO) invites all social work faculty, social workers, school social workers, community based social workers, clinical social workers and students in accredited social work programs to share their proposals with us. We also welcome sociologists and other allies in Higher Education to submit proposals. The LSWO National Social Work Conference 2027 will take place at UCLA Luskin Social Welfare in Los Angeles, California.

The conference will take place on April 16 to 18, 2027.

More than ever, social workers and allies need to network, share, and learn from each other. This is an opportunity for you to share your innovative research, practice approaches from the Micro to Macro level.

The deadline to submit proposals is October 21, 2026.
Our faculty reviewers will be reviewing the proposals as soon as we receive them.

We will notify all the status of their proposals by October 28, 2026.

In regards to technology, all workshop rooms have LCD Projectors and Screens. The LCD projectors connect to Windows Laptops. If you have an Apple Laptop, make sure to bring an Apple adapter for the LCD.

We will only communicate with the lead speaker for any workshop or panel proposal.
