2019 High School Summer Math Lab
Summer Math Lab is a two week program – Monday through Thursday beginning in late July to prepare students for the upcoming school year. Students signing up for the class should have completed or are expecting to take the following math classes in the 2019-20 school year: Algebra II or Advanced Math. The Calculus Summer Math Lab is full. Classes are 6:1 ratio and will last 60 minutes consisting of approximately 20 minutes of teaching, followed by 30 minutes of practice problems, questions, individual assistance, and ending with 10 minutes of ACT prep math problems.

Cost is $250.

This summer math program is designed to remediate skills for students who may struggle with math, reinforce skills for students who want to keep their skills sharp over the summer, or work ahead for students who want to get a head start on their upcoming math class. The goal is to teach students the concepts needed to give them a concrete foundation in their upcoming math classes with a one-to-one experience with the teacher. These classes will be taught by one of our high school math teachers, Suzanne Granger, who has 25 years of teaching higher level math courses.

If you are interested in signing your child up for this class or would like more information, please contact Suzanne Granger at suzanne.granger@parkviewbaptist.com.
