"Human Milk Composition"
"Human Milk Composition" will be presented by Kandis Natoli, PhD, RN, IBCLC-Ret. Kandis will present on species specificity and inter/intrapersonal variation, the sensory characteristics of human milk, breast milk composition and factors affecting human milk composition. The differences in bioactive molecule concentrations between fresh mothers’ own milk and heated treated breast milk will be discussed. Pathways to the establishment of the infant’s gut microbiome will also be highlighted. Please rate the following statements:
