Crate rotating is the act of utilizing kennels/separate areas in order to safely integrate multiple dogs within a home. For example, one dog might be enjoying free time in the living room, while the other dog is safely confined in a different room or a kennel.
Are you willing to crate-rotate during the initial stages, until a later agreed-upon time, in order to integrate animals as smoothly as possible?

If YES, please list their names and ages.

If YES, please describe it in the box below. Is it 100% secure? How tall are the fences? Is there ANY potential for the dog to get out?
*NOTE: you do not need to have a fenced in yard in order to be approved as a foster. We are concerned with the security aspect and the dog not being able to get out.
Please describe your current schedule to the best of your abilities (i.e.: work, gym, hobbies, etc.)
Approximately how long will your foster dog be left alone at home per day?
While I am away from home, I agree to keep my foster dog in a crate (provided by TPC if needed) so they are safe and 100% secured.
I agree to house my foster dog indoors as if they were a family pet and to give them sufficient love, care and attention. I will not use my foster dog in any sort of fighting, breeding or cruelty.
I understand that dogs can take time to settle in to their new environment upon leaving the shelter. I understand that there may be a variety of issues that arise, especially the first night(s), including- but not limited to-barking, urinating or defecating in home, chewing furniture, crying, not wanting to go in crate, etc. I understand that these issues are not forever, and I agree to work through these issues with the support of TPC. I understand that my foster dog has just left the shelter, which is an extremely traumatic and confusing environment. I promise to be patient and understanding with my foster dogs fixable issues.
I agree to keep my foster dog leashed and collared at all times while outside. While indoors, a collar with a secured tag (provided by TPC) will be worn by my foster dog.
I understand that my foster dog may have a largely unknown history and that The Pitty Committee makes no claims, warranties or guarantees about any dogs behavior, breed and/or temperament.
When a foster dog arrives at my home, TPC will provide the basics including food, crate, collar/leash, either by bringing items upon foster dog drop-off, or by delivery through Amazon or DoorDash.
TPC will reimburse for food, necessary supplies, and veterinary care throughout the duration of my time fostering. ALL purchases or bills MUST be approved PRIOR to purchase/payment, otherwise reimbursement will NOT be approved.
Do you need TPC to provide a crate for your foster dog? If yes, please include your mailing address below, if different than the address listed above. Please also include any instructions necessary for delivery, driver- such as where to leave box, if you have a gate code, etc.
I waive all rights and claims against TPC regardless of the expense or damages incurred during entire duration of fostering. Upon dogs arrival at my home, I understand I take on legal ownership of dog until foster contract has expired and dog has been released from my care at a mutually agreed upon time. I will not pursue legal action against TPC and will hold them harmless in the event that any injuries to persons or damages to property arise.
