Conference Room Booking
The MUN Botanical Garden conference room is a unique, scenic environment, ideal for holding meetings, workshops, conferences, and seminars. The room dimensions are 29’ x 19’ with large windows, creating a bright, airy atmosphere. During the Garden’s open season (May-November), several art shows will be on exhibit in the room.

The conference room is available for bookings on our open days, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The conference room is not available for private parties. A 48-hour cancellation notice is required to avoid payment of a $75 booking fee.

LOCATION & PARKING:
The conference room is located at 306 Mount Scio Road, within the Field Centre, the Garden's main building. Free parking is available in the Garden's parking lot and in the overflow lot across the street.

CAPACITY:
36 people sitting theatre or dining room style
20 people sitting board room style

FEES:
Morning (8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) - $75 +HST = $86.26
Afternoon (1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) - $75 +HST = $86.26
Full day (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) $125 +HST = $143.75
Evening (5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.) $90 +HST = $103.50

Once confirmed, you may pre-pay for your booking in person, online, or over the phone.

The following may be reserved when booking the conference room:

Flip charts
WiFi

When requesting a booking, please indicate equipment required and your desired chair/table arrangement. All equipment must be pre-booked. Tables and chairs will be arranged to your specifications.

The Field Centre and conference room are wheelchair accessible.

CATERING:
Catering may be arranged through the Garden Café located within the Field Centre. For information please contact Karen at kpower@nfld.com (May-October).

Outside catering or food and beverages are not permitted.

GARDEN FACILITIES:
All groups using the conference room may enjoy a complimentary self-guided walk and are encouraged to visit the flower gardens and trails during our open season (May to November). All visits to the flower gardens and trails must take place on the day of the room booking, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Please check in at the front desk prior to visiting the flower gardens and trails.

SCENT-FREE POLICY:
Please remind your group that Memorial University, including the Botanical Garden, has a SCENT-FREE policy. Due to allergies and scent sensitivities, we ask that attendees strive to make this a scent-free event.
