  • Ama Waterways offers an optional post-tour extension to Rwanda. This is a 4 night/5 Day extension to Volcanoes National Park, home to the rare Mountain Gorillas and Golden Monkeys.
    This extension is offered at an additional $8405 per person which includes the Internal Flights and the Park Permit. An additional $1500 non-refundable deposit is required for this extension.

  • CANCELLATION FEES:

    AMA WATERWAYS Guest Cancellation Schedule
    The following cancellation charges will be assessed for all cancellations received prior to departure up to the scheduled time of departure.
    From Time of Booking- $1200 per person is non-refundable.
    April 23, 2027 - $2400 per person is non-refundable.
    May 26, 2027 - 35% of total charges is non-refundable.
    June 25, 2027 - 50% of total charges is non-refundable.
    July 24, 2027 - 100% of total charges is non-refundable.

    PAMS PATH TO TRAVEL will charge $200 per person cancellation fee regardless of when you cancel your reservation. This fee will be charged to the credit card last used for a trip payment and if for some reason that card is no longer valid, guest agrees to submit a new card for processing of said cancellation fee.

You are also responsible to make sure any required vaccination records are up to date.***

    We highly recommend that each traveler insure their trip with Trip Cancellation Insurance. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, it is advised that insurance be purchased within 1-2 weeks of your initial trip deposit. Please select an insurance option below:
