Oogachaga Volunteer Application 2019
Thanks for your interest in volunteering with Oogachaga. We invite you to read these notes carefully before submitting your application form.

We are currently recruiting new volunteers to support us in the following services only:

* Hotline counselling
* Whatsapp counselling
* Email counselling

Eligibility:

1) Age & Availability
At least 21 years old, living in Singapore for the next 2 years (as citizen, permanent resident, or pass-holder).

2) Qualifications
You are *not* required to have any professional qualifications in counselling.

3) Volunteer Interview
You should be willing & able to attend a face-to-face volunteer interview.

We will be shortlisting applicants for interviews once we receive your form. We apologise that only shortlisted applicants will be notified.

4) Volunteer Training
Volunteer training will take place once a week in the second half of 2019.

5) Commitment
Upon completion of training, we require our volunteers to be willing & able to commit to the following:

a. Volunteering for regular duties, at least twice a month.

b. Staying for at least 1 year as an active volunteer.

c. Abiding by the Oogachaga Code of Conduct for volunteers. This covers strict Confidentiality & other key aspects of our work.

6) Confidentiality
We take your privacy very seriously, and your information will be kept strictly confidential. We are bound by the legal provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.

7) Accountability
In the interest of providing an accountable service to our clients, some of whom may be vulnerable individuals, we ask that you be as truthful as possible in all your responses.
