Thank you for your interest in volunteering! Columbia Riverkeeper is hosting an event that will span both Washington and Oregon in an effort to cleanup and increase awareness of our beautiful Columbia River. Clark County Parks will sponsor a beach cleanup at Captain William Clark Park (please see link to map to park above). We will work on picking up litter from the park, the trail and from the banks of the Columbia River.

You should wear weather-appropriate clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, long pants, and closed toe shoes, and bring water to drink. We will supply gloves and garbage bags, but if you have gloves feel free to bring them.

If you (or anyone in your group) are under the age of 18, a parental consent form must be signed. Please copy and paste this URL into your browser to access the form: http://www.parkhero.org/Documents/CCPMinorConsent_000.pdf. Print, fill out, and bring with you to the event.

If you have any questions please contact the Clark County Public Works Volunteer Coordinator, Karen Llewellyn, at 360.397.6118 ext. 1627 or karen.llewellyn@clark.wa.gov.
