The Latino Social Workers Organization (LSWO) invites all social work faculty, social workers, and allied human service professionals to submit a workshop or panel presentation for the 2024 Chicago Conference.

The conference will take place at the University of Illinois-Chicago, 750 South Halsted Street, Chicago, IL 60607. More information will be posted every week at www.lswo2024.com

Conference will be on October 3-5, 2024.

Please inform your colleagues of this opportunity to share their knowledge, research, and best practices in Social Work. Most importantly, this is an opportunity to network with social work faculty, social work professionals, social work students, and allied health professionals.

The deadline to submit proposals is April 5, 2024.

The LSWO Social Work Faculty will be reviewing all the proposals as we receive them. We estimate that you will know the status of your workshop by April 10, 2024.

If your proposal is accepted, you will receive a discount to the conference.

In regards to technology, all workshop rooms have LCD Projectors and Screens. The LCD projectors connect to Windows Laptops. If you have an Apple Laptop, make sure to bring an Apple adapter for the LCD.

On April 15, 2024, we will send all approved speakers a link to confirm that they will be available to present. Also, an optional opportunity, is to submit your photo, so we can promote the conference on all our platforms.
