CUSF Houston Book Grant Application - $250.00
Houston Book Grants are specifically for the purchase of supplemental classroom books. Grant money may NOT be used for required text books. Funding is for up to $250.00 and applications will be randomly drawn.
  • This grant is open to all Professional Licensed Educators in Unit 4 or District 116 (as designated by the Illinois State Board of Education). All qualifying Houston Book Grant applications will be put into a drawing where names will be randomly selected. Please note, this is a reimbursement grant, meaning you will need to spend the money and submit receipts to CUSF for reimbursement. This is how we insure accountability to our donors.

  • Please let us know if there are matching funds you intend to use (for example, contributions from your PTA).
  • Please note this is a reimbursement grant, meaning you will need to spend the money and submit receipts to CUSF for reimbursement.

    Terms and Conditions:

    1. After your expenses are verified, we will reimburse you within 3 business days by sending a check to the address you provided in this application.
    2. If you are experiencing a financial hardship or don't have access to cash or a credit card - we can help. Please contact the CUSF office directly at 217-398-2873.
    3. I understand that if I am funded for this proposal that the receipts I provide CUSF must reflect what I am proposing to insure accountability for our donors.
    4. If I buy any non-consumables with this grant money, they will become the property of my current school district.
