2025 USA Judo Athletes' Advisory Council Nomination
USA Judo is accepting nominations (self-nominations and nominations from others) for eligible candidates for open positions on the USA Judo Athletes' Advisory Council. Fulfilling this role is a significant commitment, so please confirm with the individual you’re nominating that they are indeed interested in being considered for a position on AAC. They must be willing to make the investment of time to attend monthly virtual meetings. Please also ensure that the individual qualifies for the category they are being nominated for as described on the 2025 USA Judo Athletes' Advisory Council election page. • An individual is ineligible to run for election if they have any prior felony convictions or any period of ineligibility served in sport. Failure to disclose in advance of the election is cause for immediate removal from the ballot and/or the removal of the members once elected.
• An individual running for election must disclose any actual, possible, or perceived conflict of interest consistent with USA Judo’s Conflicts of Interest Policy as part of the vetting process for candidates. The disclosure shall be made to all eligible voters prior to the vote so that the disclosure may be considered in the voting process. Failure to disclose in advance of the election can be cause for the removal of the member once the results have been determined.
• Athletes who medal at D-level for the following disciplines have been approved to be included in the NGB 10-year Athlete Pool for AAC participation:
- U23 IJF Juniors
- Kata
- Veterans
