PURPOSE OF THIS CONSULTATION
This online form ensures the success of your Permanent Wave service by evaluating your hair's length, density, condition, texture, and chemical history to prevent adverse reactions. It also helps us identify your hair goals and schedule the most suitable services. Note: Permanent Wave services are available Wednesday to Saturday.

HOW TO RESERVE YOUR APPOINTMENT
1. Complete the Form: Fill out and submit the Permanent Wave consultation form.

2. Review Process: Ms. CeCe (Stylist) will review your form and offer personalized recommendations based on your hair's condition. Additional details may be requested as needed.

3. Response: Expect an email response within 72 business hours. Our appointment coordinator, Joy, is available Tuesday to Saturday, 8 AM to 4 PM. You'll receive a confirmed appointment quote and summary regarding your hair's suitability.

4. Confirm Your Appointment: Review the personalized quote and respond with your preferred dates via email or text to our Client Service Coordinator.

5. Secure Your Booking: Submit payment for your selected Permanent Wave service or choose a payment plan option to finalize your appointment.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- You may be placed on a waitlist with an estimated wait time of 1-4 weeks.
- A response is required within 72 hours (3 days) to schedule your appointment. Failure to respond will forfeit the booking.

- We will take non-identifiable photos/videos for social media to showcase our services.

  • Importance of Disclosing Chemical Treatments
    Even if chemical treatments occurred over a year ago, residues can remain in the hair shaft, affecting its structure and health. Disclosing any past treatments helps us evaluate your hair's compatibility with the Permanent Wave process, reducing the risk of damage or undesirable results. Your safety and hair integrity are our top priorities.

    Importance: Understanding density is crucial as it affects the amount of perm solution required and overall pricing.
  • MEASURING HAIR DENSITY

    Measuring your hair density at home doesn’t need to be precise; it simply gives us an idea of your hair's thickness and what may be required.

    Instructions for an Accurate Reading:

    Place your hair in a ponytail.
    Wrap a flexible tape measure around the ponytail to determine its circumference.
    High Density (HD) hair requires more time and product. This helps us provide accurate pricing and estimate the duration of your Permanent Wave service.

    Your stylist will conduct a Length and Density Check before your service for a more accurate reading.

    - Be Prepared: Have realistic options for your hair goals.
    - Wash Your Hair: Clean your hair 1-3 days before; avoid excess dirt, sweat, or oil.
    - Minimal Products: Arrive with little to no products in your hair.
    - Detangle: Ensure your hair is comb-able from root to ends.
    - Trim if Needed: If it’s been over 4 months since your last trim or you have split ends, consider a trim for defined curls.
    - Dress Accordingly: Avoid favorite clothing or jewelry.
    - Pack a Snack: Appointments may last 2-5 hours; ECS offers beverages and light snacks.
    - Budget for At-Home Care: Maintain your investment with salon-quality shampoo and products.
    - Invest in Good Products: Allocate budget for specialized products to preserve your Permanent Wave.
  • Damaged Hair Recommendations

    If your hair is not suitable for a Permanent Wave, we recommend our Transition to Perm Service plan to strengthen and prepare your hair. Revitalize your hair with our Damaged Hair Rebuilding Treatment:

    - Allow your hair to heal with treatments, time, and trims.
    - Reduce or stop using heating tools 3-4 weeks before your Permanent Wave.
    - Hair that is brittle, dry, shedding, or breaking should not be permed until treated with Hair Rebuilding Treatments.
    - Highly Recommended: Revitalize with our in-salon Damaged Hair Rebuilding Treatment, which restores strength and provides essential nutrients. We recommend 3-5 sessions at $120 per session.

    A Damaged Hair Repair Kit is also available for at-home use.
  • WHAT'S NEXT?

    After reviewing your Permanent Wave Online consultation and the photos we will send you a quote VIA EMAIL and be able to answer your questions and/or concerns on a more personal level.
  • CLIENT TARDINESS & LATE START NOTICE

    All clients are granted a 10-minute grace period for all appointments. After 15 minutes we reserve the right to cancel, reschedule or proceed with services and Charge a Late Start Fee.

    - $25 Late Start Fee – General Services
    - $45 Late Start Fee – Specialty Services
    - $50 Late Start Fee - Premium Specialty Services

    Please arrive on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to provide your full service and might need to reschedule. A new deposit may be required to reserve a new appointment to avoid disrupting others.
  • STYLIST LATE START FEE/COMPENSATION OPTION

    There may be a wait of up to 15 minutes before your appointment starts. Working with curly hair can be time-consuming, and while we strive to stay on schedule, delays may occur. If we're running behind, we will send a text message 30 minutes to 1 hour before your appointment.

    If we are more than 15 minutes late, we will offer a discount of $10 to $30 off your service OR complimentary service compensation for your current or next appointment, at the stylist's discretion.
