"My first job was at a call center named Alorica. I worked for the campaign Amazon. Customers will call due to their package has not arrived, if this is the case I will see the tracking number to see what was the last scan on the package. I will let the customer know about their package and when will it arrive and what is the delay. Also if the package didn’t arrive we will have to replace the package or make a refund. The ups of the job were when an older person would call so we could help them look for a gift for their grandchildren or when a man would call to get his wife gifts.
I also worked for Teleperformance for sales. I will receive calls from the customer and an auto-dialer for the client to get a better electricity plan based on their needs. I will make several questions as to how they use their electricity and find the best plan for them. What I liked about the job is that you are able to see how the electricity works and how it's calculated.
My first work from home was with Porch and I will do between 200 to 300 calls a day. I would call the clients and send them an email with their utility information and offer home insurance and offer them to transfer their internet and cable services. What I mostly liked about the job was that I was able to work from home and not have to be stuck in traffic. I help new homeowners make their transition to their new homes easier."
