Annual Conference Workshop Volunteer Form
Thank you for applying to be a Volunteer at our 2025 NASW-FL Annual Conference. Your presence and active participation will help make our conference a success!
To be a volunteer, you must be a current NASW-FL member. You must complete 6 hours of volunteer efforts throughout the conference. This can include a combination of workshops, registration shifts, support at the Keynote or the Awards Luncheon.
We will make every effort to honor your selections, but we can't guarantee your first selections. Please note when you receive the 50% discount code you are agreeing to complete your assigned shifts.
Workshop Moderator - Responsibilities include picking up and returning the continuing education packet from the conference registration desk. Please arrive at the registration desk at least 25 minutes before the workshop session starts to pick up the continuing education packet. You must stay for the whole workshop session to ensure that all workshop participants sign in, assist with starting the workshop on time and introducing the speaker(s) (from a prepared bio in the Conference app). Please make sure to return the continuing education packet at the end of the completed workshop.
Conference Registration - Responsibilities include handing out registration materials and conference bags, answering questions, helping sell merchandise and provide directions to the workshops.
Awards Luncheon - Assist with set up, taking luncheon tickets and clean up.
All volunteers receive 50% off the conference registration. You will receive the discount code once your application is approved with the Volunteer Assignment Confirmation email from NASW-FL staff.
Please note we will accept and review applications up until Thursday, May 15, 2025, or when spaces are full, whichever comes first.
Please contact NASW-FL at 1-800-352-6279 or email info.naswfl@socialworkers.org if you have any questions.
