YALSA’s new Teen Services Competencies for Library Staff
provides a framework to enable library staff to meet the needs of teens in their communities. The Competencies inform all aspects of library service from program planning, to internal and external policies, to staff training and development. In this session, work with other library staff to take a deep dive into the Competencies and explore how to integrate them into your daily work. Come with a program plan, a job description, a policy, a staff and/or program evaluation tool, or another tool you use in your work and spend time aligning your day-to-day tools to the Competencies.
Let us know if you plan to attend the program. Please submit this form by June 1, 2018.
If you have questions about the pre-conference contact YALSA's CE Consultant, Linda W. Braun
