  • Dear Applicant,

    Welcome to the online application for The Asia Foundation's LankaCorps Fellowship program. To complete the application you must provide the following:

    1) Personal Statement (maximum 700 words): Discuss any professional, academic and personal experiences and achievements that you think have helped to prepare you to be a LankaCorps Fellow. How might your participation in such a fellowship contribute to your career ambitions and/or plans for future study? What is your understanding of leadership and how have you exercised it to influence a group or organization in the past?
    2) Statement of Purpose (maximum 500 words): In what sector -- public, private/business, or community development/nonprofit -- and kind of agency or organization would like to work? Are there specific skills or areas of expertise that you would bring to the table?
    3) Two letters of recommendation: Letters must attest to both professional and academic qualifications. Letters submitted directly from the applicant are acceptable. You will be able to upload your letters on this application form. If preferable, references may also send their letters directly to lankacorps@asiafoundation.org with the applicant’s full name in the subject line.
    4) Current and detailed C.V. or Resume


    (!) Before proceeding, be sure to prepare all necessary materials including the essay statements and all other supporting documentation.

    The application may take several hours to complete. You will be able to save your progress and resume filling out the application at a later time by clicking the "Save and Resume" option below. This system does not require you to create a user account for logging in.

    DO NOT continue editing your form right after you click the "Save and Resume" function. Be sure that the save function is the last thing you do before leaving your form, or you will not be able to resume your application at a later time!
