District/Council Event Range & Target Activities
Use this form to submit an intent to operate a District/Council range & target activities at a short-term camp or day camp. Please also provide names and training certificate that are available for Range & Target Activities Committee review to ensure compliance with NCAP Standards PS-213, PS-214, SQ-407, SQ-408, and/or the Range & Target Activities Manual.

Events occurring at a Scouting America Accredited Camp using established ranges need to submit this form a minimum 60 days prior to their event.

Events occurring off a council property with established ranges, or that will use a temporary range regardless of location need to submit this form a minimum 90 days prior to the event.

    Please provide details on what shooting sports program you'll be providing to youth.
  • The Shooting Sports Committee considers an established range to be a range that has existed before your event occurs and is typically used for the same shooting activity as you plan on having at that range.
  • Please indicate the shooting sports activities for which you will be setting up temporary ranges.
  • Please upload Google map illustrations of the range layout of each temporary range you will be setting up.
  • If you need the Shooting Sports Committee to assign a Chief Range Safety Officer (CRSO) to help you with designing and approving the temporary ranges you are setting up, please select "yes"
