Girl Scouts of Orange County hosts Year of Service, a monthly online workshop where Girl Scouts of all ages learn about community issues and ways to help.

We invite you to be a guest speaker! GSOC will feature your organization's name, title, and image in event promotions and introduce you during the session, giving you the opportunity to share your message, educate participants, and inspire action!

The ideal time-frame for an online Year of Service workshop is late afternoons, generally 4-5 pm
Each event follows a similar format:
5 Minutes - Welcome & Intro (Girl Scout Staff)
20 Minutes - Content/Interactive Activity (Program Provider Guest Speaker)
15 Minutes – Girl Scout Award Presentation (Girl Scout Led)
15 Minutes – Interactive Activity (Girl Scout Led)
5 Minutes – Event Evaluation & Next Steps

Do you have ideas for a hands-on activity that the Girl Scouts can complete, via zoom, that would help your organization? Please describe: *

Successful activities have been: care package assembly, food delivery bag decoration, encouraging notes, advocacy posters, animal treat bags, meal tray favors, animal toys, collection projects including a handmade element (ie: bookmarks in donated books, pocket notes in collected coats, personalized label on water bottles, etc.)

Year of Service sessions are recorded in order to provide the best resource for Girl Scout Troop Leaders.

We have a patch to give the Girl Scouts.

Items must be suitable for mailing (flat). Cost of the item may be covered by the Year of Service budget. We can discuss as needed.
