A red asterisk (*) indicates that a field is required.
  • RULES FOR APPLICATION

Read all rules carefully, by submitting your application you verify agreement to all the rules and regulations.

Artists are limited to displaying and selling work that has been represented in the images submitted with application. All other work is ineligible.

Work is only considered if it fits in the categories described below. Most craft items do not qualify.

All work must be original, handcrafted art. Production-line art or factory-reproduced items will not be considered for the show. Signed reproductions may be sold, but must clearly be labeled as reproductions. Previous exhibitors should always apply as if they are first-time exhibitors. Our selection committee rotates each year, so do not rely on our memory of your requests or artwork from years past.

    ART MEDIA CATEGORIES
(It is important to select the correct category,
    especially DIGITAL vs. PHOTOGRAPHY.)

CERAMICS/CLAY: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural. No artwork from mass produced studios, collectives, or items made with commercial kits, molds, patterns, plans, or prefabricated pieces are allowed. Artists may not exhibit work purchased in part or in entirety from other artists for resale.

DIGITAL: Includes any original work in which the original image, or the manipulation of other source material, was executed by the artist using the computer. (Digital photo editing within the confines of what could be done in the darkroom is allowed in the photography category.) Work must be signed and numbered limited editions, using archival papers, inks, and emulsions.

MIXED MEDIA: This category includes works, both 2- and 3-dimensional, that incorporate more than one type of physical material to produce. Includes non-sculptural work as determined by the artist. Original one of a kind pieces are accepted. No reproductions are permitted.

PAINTING: Acrylic, oil, gouache, and watercolors are accepted in this medium. Reproduction prints (cards, posters, etc.) may not be more than 10% of all the work exhibited.

PHOTOGRAPHY: Includes traditional film photography, hand colored images, emulsion transfers, and digital photography that has not been manipulated to achieve results beyond what could be done in a traditional darkroom. Only artist's original source material is acceptable. Work must be in editions, signed and numbered on archival material and all work displayed in the booth must be for sale.

PRINTMAKING: Only hand pulled original mono-print, serigraph, lithograph, etching, woodcut and other relief techniques are allowed. Prints must be in limited editions, signed and numbered, on archival material.

All proceeds from the raffle are used to further Francis Park improvements – sculptures, plantings and park maintenance. Items submitted for raffle will be added to our website and there will be a special section in the program that will feature the art that has been donated. Your piece will be displayed at your own booth and we will provide you with a specially marked box for people to place their entries. This is a great way to increase the traffic at your booth – about 90% of the artists participated last year and they were very pleased with the raffle. If you wish to be a part of the art raffle, indicate so on your application.

  • If you decide to participate in the Art Raffle this name will be used in the raffle section of the program as well.
