Eligibility: Team Members of Universal City Development Partners, Ltd. (“Universal Orlando”) who are in good standing (“Entrants”) are eligible to enter and win prizes. Each drawing constitutes a separate contest. Third party vendors and concessionaires are not eligible. Universal Orlando will verify eligibility of all potential winners. Participation constitutes Entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Universal Orlando’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to each drawing. Winning any prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

 Prizes: Prizes are not transferable or assignable, and no substitutions or cash equivalents are permitted. Universal Orlando is not responsible or liable for any actions or for any events that occur during, or as a result of, winner’s acceptance and/or use of any prize. The odds of winning any drawing depend on the actual number of entries received. UNIVERSAL ORLANDO WILL INCLUDE THE FAIR MARKET VALUE OF THE PRIZE ON THE WINNING TEAM MEMBER’S IRS FORM W-2 AS TAXABLE COMPENSATION. All federal, state and local taxes will be the sole responsibility of the Team Member. Universal Orlando will pay a gross-up payment to the winning Team Member to mitigate any potential tax liability due on the value of the prize. THE GROSS-UP PAYMENT, AS WELL AS ANY ADDITIONAL AMOUNT PAID ON THE FAIR MARKET VALUE OF THE PRIZE WINNINGS WILL BE INCLUDED AS TAXABLE INCOME ON THE WINNER’S IRS FORM W-2. All other expenses, costs, fees, or additional tax associated with acceptance of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winning Team Member. UNIVERSAL ORLANDO DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY TAX ADVICE TO THE ENTRANT OR WINNER BY MAKING THIS DISCLAIMER. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited) to use the winner's name, photograph and statements for publicity purposes, without additional compensation or limitation, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide and on the Internet and World Wide Web, without notice, review or approval.

Selection of Winner: An authorized representative of Universal Orlando will collect the entries via the website. The authorized representative(s) will select, at random, ten (10) entries from all eligible entries received during the applicable promotional period. Winner need not be present to win. In the event the winner is not present, the winner will be notified by telephone and/or e-mail. The prizes will be awarded to an eligible Entrant who has properly completed the required information. The name of the winner of each drawing will be announced on UOTeam.com/perksandplay. Winner’s eligibility will be confirmed in order to be named as winner for each prize. Failure to respond to a notification or return any required forms in the required time period may result in the winner being disqualified and a subsequent drawing held to pick an alternate winner. In the event that the potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Universal Orlando will award the prize to an alternate potential winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries.

 
Release: By receipt of any prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless Universal Orlando and its directors, officers, partners, donors, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising/promotion agencies, parent, subsidiary and related companies and each of the foregoing entities’ respective officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in drawings or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

Limitations: Universal Orlando shall not be responsible for inaccurate, lost, or incomplete, entries, or technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the drawings or the processing of entries.

Miscellaneous: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Entrant and Universal Orlando in connection with the drawings, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Florida without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Florida or any other jurisdiction). Except where prohibited, Entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with any drawing or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court of competent jurisdiction located in Orange County, Florida. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the drawings, but in no event attorneys’ fees. Under no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
