Welcome to the 2022 AHG OCC Shoebox Challenge! The Challenge theme coincides with the AHG 2022-2023 Program Year Theme: SHINE. We are shining a light on making this the largest AHG collection ever as there is much need to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth. The 2022 SHINE goal is for each Troop to pack between 25 and 100+ shoebox gifts full of toys, school supplies, and hygiene items for children in need worldwide.

Bonus: Troops that pack 100 or more shoeboxes are entered into a drawing to win a memorable trip for a Girl Member and Adult Member/Guardian to be chosen by the winning Troop. They will accompany AHG Founder and Executive Director Patti Garibay on a fun-filled trip to visit OCC/Samaritan’s Purse in Boone, NC, including tours of the OCC shoebox fulfillment center, the Billy Graham museum, and other exciting events. The trip will occur in the summer of 2023. The Troop representative will bring back a special OCC gift for the Troop.

To qualify for the drawing, Troops must enter their shoebox counts by November 30, 2022. The winning Troop will be announced in January 2023. The winning Troop will determine the method to choose the representatives that will attend the trip with Patti Garibay.
