2018 JRC Boat Hire Form
All applications must be submitted by 28th Feb.

  • CLUB EQUIPMENT HIRE

    Club equipment hire is arranged and paid between the Club and the nominated Crew Captain. All members of the crew must be paid up JRC members before an application will be considered. The hire fee includes use of boat & oars but crews are required to provide their own safety equipment (Lifejackets, Flares, VHF etc). The hire period runs from 30th March through to the 30th September. The JRC does however reserve the right to use any club boat throughout the season.

    Novice Quad (crews must include a minimum of 2 first year rowers) - £200
    Standard Quad - £400
    Senior Quad - (Victor & Euro132) - £600
    Doubles - £300

    Due to having limited number of boats available for hire we may not be able to fulfill your request. Where there are competing demands for equipment, allocation is discussed at committee level and the fairest solution agreed.

  • This is an application for Boat Hire and it must be understood that high demand and limited availability may mean the Committee are unable to allocate you a boat. The Boat Hire Committee member will be in touch on receiving this application.

  • What Happens Next?

    JRC Committee will discuss your application and offer you the equipment it has for hire. A representative will meet with you to hand over that equipment, inspect the boat for damage and collect your hire fees. Once this has taken place you are free to use the club and equipment.
