Summer 2024 Junior Coach Application
Please fill out this application in its entirety. Once your application is complete you will be considered for a spot in the Junior Coach Program. NOTE: PARENTS MAY ASSIST BUT MUST BE FILLED OUT BY JUNIOR COACH APPLICANT!
  • MISSION STATEMENT

    The Junior Coach Program will present middle school and high school athletes (ages 13-18) the opportunity to be trained in sports ministry and leadership development through 4-6 classroom style sessions, small groups and practical ministry opportunities at our youth camps.
  • CONTRACT AND COMMITTMENT

    Week 1: June 10-14 (Biola University)
    Week 2: June 17-21 (Rose Drive Friends Church)
    Week 3: July 8-12 (Sonora High School)
    Week 4: July 22-26 (Troy High School)
    Week 5: July 29-August 2 (Rose Drive Friends Church)

    The FCA Junior Coach Program expects the highest level of commitment and buy in to our mission for the summer. While we understand everyone is at a different spot in their faith and comes from different backgrounds, the following are certain expectations FCA Junior Coaches agree to comply with during the summer.

    1. Committing to learning about Christ and discovering what it means to follow Him.

    2. Committing to representing Christ in a sportsmanlike manner through language and attitude.

    3. Agreeing to participate in ALL Jr. Coach functions, which will include bi-weekly Bible studies and camps. (Morning/Afternoon

    The most important thing is your willingness to humble yourself and buy in to the discipleship process.
