CTE Dual Credit Transcription Request
  • Once you've completed your Career and Technical Education (CTE) course(s) at your high school, you can request Centralia College to transcribe the credit. Transcription of your CTE credits is important for several reasons:

    1. Continuing at Centralia College: If you plan to continue your education at Centralia College in a degree program, having your CTE credits transcribed ensures they are applied to your degree progress.

    2. Employment Applications: After high school, you may need a record of the courses you've completed to submit with job applications. Transcribing your CTE credits helps you demonstrate the skills and education you've acquired.

    3. Military Service: If you're applying for military service, completing college credit may qualify you for a rank bump, and having your credits transcribed will help you receive that benefit.

    4. Transferring to Another College or University: If you plan to continue your education at a different community college or university, transcribing your CTE credits ensures they can be evaluated for possible transfer, helping you move forward with your academic goals.

Be sure to request the transcription of your credits as soon as you've completed your courses to take full advantage of these opportunities.

If you have any questions, please contact the Career and Technical Education Office at 360-623-8963 or cte@centralia.edu.
