Employer Request 2021/22

The Canadore Career Launcher is a student/new Alumni community placement experiential learning program that is developed to provide paid work experience linked to program learning outcomes for vulnerable and diverse student and alumni groups.


These groups include but are not limited to; Indigenous, International, racialized and LGBTQ+ students, students with disabilities and hard to place students by providing a starting point for their careers. 


Our collective goal is to create a community placement program to provide students and new alumni with real work experience thought paid placements. Employers would receive a $2,500 incentive to hire a Canadore student (minimum 250 hours) or $4000 for Alumni within 6 months of graduation. 


Approved positions will run from:  November 2021 to June 2022 and will be a minimum of 250 hours.
