2022 -2023 SCRP Field Trip Request
Thank you for your interest! Please use this form to request a field trip.
Our parks are your classroom! Get students outdoors learning about the world around them! We are pleased to offer a wide range of opportunities through the county. These hands-on, inquiry based programs reinforce critical Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.
Field trips are place based highlighting the natural and cultural resources unique to each park. These programs are held Tuesdays - Fridays. Programs are from 9:30 am to 11:30 am for pre-K and Kindergarten and 9:30 am to 12:30 pm for first through eighth grades. Optional pre-visits are either online live workshops or in class presentations that include a fun assignment for your students to complete at home. All teachers are given access to our online library of educational videos and webinars.
The cost for the field trips is $5 per student in county, $7 per student out of county. Schools who have more than 50% free/reduced price lunch can receive a scholarship and just pay a $25 registration fee. Pre visits are $35.
Regional Parks staff will follow up with program scheduling details, payment options, and additional details.
