Travel Agent Academy Questionnaire
Thank you for your interest in Canary Travel’s 2017 Travel Agent Academy. We have had over 200 inquiries and only have 50 spots available. Before making the financial commitment we would like for you to complete this assessment which will help you determine whether this new career path is a good fit for you. Successful travel agents have several things in common. They are highly motivated sales people who are customer service focused, and passionate about travel. Our class will provide you with the knowledge and tools needed to become an independent contractor with Canary Travel. We will teach you how to book and manage travel. However, the most successful agents will already possess skills that will not be taught during this course. This is not a salary or hourly position. Leads will not be provided and you will be responsible for generating your own sales. The position is only commission based. To be a successful travel agent one must be well-organized, detail-oriented, professional and courteous. Excellent writing and interpersonal skills as well as sales ability are also necessary.
