NASW-FL requests proposals for presentation at Social Work Conference 2019! The Conference will be held June 13-15, 2019, at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center, Orlando, FL. We look forward to hearing your ideas.

This year proposals will be peer reviewed with identifying information, along with presenter credentials to enhance and expand offerings.
  • The topic should be clear from reading the title, and the title should be as concise as possible.
  • Basic presentations are not desired.
  • You may add additional comments about the topic area in the section later in this form.
  • It should describe the topic and content of the presentation.
  • Proposals are required to have at least one learning objective per hour of presentation. That is, if your proposal is for a 1.5-hour workshop, you should have at least 2 learning objectives; if your proposal is for a 3-hour workshop, you will need at least 3 learning objectives.
  • Please provide a detailed outline of your presentation.
  • You may submit your presentation handouts and/or slides that can assist the selection committee with reviewing your proposal.
  • Standard workshop setup is theater style, except in special circumstances. Standard poster setup is an easel. Please use this space to describe any special setup needs, such as room setup (classroom, round tables, chairs in a circle) or considerations (high noise level, animals, etc.)
  • Are there any other notes or comments, not addressed in the questions above, that you would like to share with our selection committee? This could include need room for participants to participate in exercises.
