Aguascalientes Symphony Orchestra: August 12-14, 2019

Submission Form
Use this form to submit one piece for application to the EarShot Aguascalientes Symphony Orchestra New Music Readings in Aguascalientes, Mexico. You may not submit more than one piece for consideration for this program.

Instrumentation should not exceed Aguascalientes Symphony Orchestra’s standard symphonic complement: winds at 3.3.3.3; brass at 4.3.3.1; harp, 1 keyboard (piano/celesta/harpsichord), timpani plus 3 percussion, and strings (11.12.7.8.6). Doublings allowed: piccolo, English horn, bass clarinet, and contrabassoon. If the submitted work does not meet this orchestration, composers should expect some re-orchestration will be requested if chosen.

Complete application and submission materials must be received no later than 11:59 pm EST on May 22, 2019.

A complete submission must include the following:
• This completed online submission form.
• A PDF of the score clearly labeled with the composer's name and title of the work on the cover page.
• A current resume including educational background, major teachers, awards, and professional affiliations.
• There is no application fee.

La instrumentación no debe exceder el complemento sinfónico estándar de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Aguascalientes: vientos en 3.3.3.3; latón a 4.3.3.1; arpa, 1 teclado (piano / celesta / clavecín), timbales más 3 percusión y cuerdas (11.12.7.8.6). Dobles permitidos: piccolo, corno inglés, clarinete bajo y contrabassoon. Si el trabajo enviado no cumple con esta orquestación, los compositores deben esperar que se solicite una nueva orquestación si se elige.

Los materiales completos de solicitud y presentación deben recibirse a más tardar a las 11:59 pm EST del 22 de mayo de 2019.

Una presentación completa debe incluir lo siguiente:
