LIVESTOCK - Check the box below if you satisfy the requirements listed and would like to be registered for this category.

Must maintain, care for, process and/or breed at least 2 or more animals. Goats, Rabbits, Sheep, Hogs, Horses and Cattle are some examples of animals that qualify for this certification.

BEEKEEPING - Check the box below if you satisfy the requirements listed and would like to be registered for this category.

Must maintain and care for one or more hives for the purpose of honey production or pollination. Traditional Hives and Mason Bee Houses qualify for this certification.

FORAGING EDIBLES - Check the box below if you satisfy the requirements listed and would like to be registered for this category.

Must forage in the wild or on unmaintained areas of private property for wild grown edible foods at least 1 time in a 12 month period.

FOOD PRESERVATION - Check the box below if you satisfy the requirements listed and would like to be registered for this category.

Must preserve home grown or foraged edibles using any method at least 1 time in a 12 month period. Some examples of preservation are freezing, salting, fermenting, canning, jellying, smoking, vacuum sealing, root cellars, dehydration, water glassing,

NATIVE PLANT POLLINATOR POCKET - Check the box below if you satisfy the requirements listed and would like to be registered for this category.

Maintain & care for at least 2 varieties of natives indigenous to your region. Native plants must be included in a plot of land w/minimum of 16 sq ft (approximately 4' X 4'). Plants must be known to attract pollinating insects, butterflies, birds.

VEGETABLE & HERB GARDENTING - Check the box below if you satisfy the requirements listed and would like to be registered for this category.

Maintain & care for land plot or containers w/edible plants, herbs or flowers. Plot must be a min of 16 sf (appr 4' X 4'). Container garden must have at least (4), 5 gallon buckets (or comparable containers). Plants must be for food or preservation.

NATURAL THERAPEUTICS - Check the box below if you satisfy the requirements listed and would like to be registered for this category.

Must process herbs, fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, animal products or other natural components for medicinal or therapeutic uses. Examples include tinctures, salves, teas, tonics, poultices or other items put to use for health and wellness.

FRUIT TREES - Check the box below if you satisfy the requirements listed and would like to be registered for this category.

Must maintain, care for and cultivate fruit from at least 2 fruit bearing trees. Fruit produced for the purpose of food and/or preservation qualify for this certification.

TREE TAPPING - Check the box below if you satisfy the requirements listed and would like to be registered for this category.

Must maintain, care for and tap a minimum of 2 mature trees where the trunk diameter measures at least 14” across. Tapping trees and collecting sap for the purpose of direct consumption and/or boiling down into syrup qualifies for this certification.
