Really Saving the Bees - May 30, 2019

Entomologist Dr. Barry Hicks of College of the North Atlantic and Vice-president of the NLBKA, and Todd Boland of the MUN Botanical Garden will talk about the native bee species that live all around us, and how to keep them healthy and thriving. This session is designed to show people the wide variety of pollinators and their need for a clean environment and places to make nests. The best varieties of plants to provide good forage through the growing season will be highlighted, and what you can do to help save these important bee species.

Entry is by a suggested $5 cash donation at the door.
