The truth is — web can hardly function without online forms. They serve as collectors of information and various queries for businesses, but at the same time, they are much more than that.

Gone are the days of scary-looking unintelligible forms that give chills at a mere thought of the time and effort needed to fill them in. Today’s form builder software have advanced so much in the past 10 years that they now serve as one-stop solution for anyone looking to create beautiful, functional, and user friendly forms without writing a single line of code.

As a matter of fact, a single line of code is what you get when you create forms and press publish button to share them.

Everyone can create comprehensive and flexible forms to collect contacts, payments, feedback, or any user-generated data on the web. Keep reading and you’ll learn how simple it is to do this with EmailMeForm.

EmailMeForm integrates with Wordpress, Weebly, and Wix

You probably know already how easy it is to build a website or blog on WordPress, Wix or a similar CMS platform — all it takes is to drag, drop, and customize the elements you want. Similarly, our form builder allows you to effortlessly build contact forms, payment forms, feedback forms, registrations, applications, or any other form for your blogs and websites. Just chose the form and survey fields you need and adjust them to your requirements. Some of these fields will allow you to calculate price and offer discounts so that you can sell products and services online. Your forms can be fully integrated with your website or linked as standalone pages hosted on our servers.

This time, we won’t go into the details on how to create free forms with our DIY form builder, but you can learn the basics in some of our previous blog posts.

Recommendation: read about optimizing user experience for the best form completion rates and using advanced form fields to create smart and good-looking forms. If you’re completely new to our tool, take a minute to see this short video tutorial on the basics of Form Manager.

Let us focus now on how you can share the forms you have already created to make them accessible to your audience on various platforms and marketing channels you use to promote your business. After creating, previewing and saving a form, click on the Code option in the dropdown dashboard of your form (see the image below).

Once you click on this tab, you will see this screen where you can choose between various options to share your form on different platforms and in different formats:

Ways to share your forms
Share your forms on multiple platforms
  1. Share the link (URL, simple link, button, popup link, lightbox link)
  2. Embed a form on your website (IFrame, Full Page IFrame, Full Code)
  3. Social & CMS Integration (Facebook, WordPress, Weebly, Wix, Blogger, Dreamweaver, Tumblr, Webs, TypePad, LiveJournal, Google Sites)

Embed form into your website

Our recommendation is to use Easy Embed code, because it’s dynamic and every change you make on your form in the future will be immediately synchronized with your website.

Step by step WordPress form embedding

95% of internet users choose WordPress as their website platform. This is why we’ll focus on how to embed your EmailMeForms on your WordPress website or blog first.

When you reach the sharing screen shown above, choose WordPress integration option. The process can’t be more simple than this:

  1. Go to your WordPress website
  2. “Add New Post” and choose HTML instead of text
  3. Copy your form’s code shown in the section of WordPress sharing (EmailMeForm)

  4. Paste your form’s code into the HTML text box of your WordPress website

That’s virtually all it takes and the exact same process works for all CMS platforms we’ve listed previously.

Use forms on your Facebook page

What does this mean?

Means you can connect your form with the call to action button on your Facebook page or create a special tab to embed your form, but for the best results we suggest you do both.

Placing a form on your Facebook page, your users will be able to contact you; apply for courses, lectures, webinars, excursions, etc.; order and purchase goods or services; make an appointment; request service, ask for quote; or practically submit any other information you need collected on your page.

Before you can embed a form, you need to install our app on your Facebook page.

When embedding a form into Facebook tab — which is a default embedding option — bear in mind that Facebook tabs are not supported by Facebook’s mobile app so your form won’t be viewable on the mobile app.

Recommendation: Make sure your users can reach your form on their mobile devices by connecting Facebook tab to the call to action button.

Here’s how one of our users connected both Facebook tab and call to action button with their form to accept online appointments:

As you can see in this example, WillowCreek’s Appointment Request form is connected to both Facebook tab option (Req Appt) and their call to action button (Book Now). It’s nicely embedded and conveniently serves their clients for making appointments directly on their page.

Or you can simply link your form like this…

The easiest solution for you to connect call to action Facebook button with your form is by simple linking. With this option, you will avoid embedding, which means that your form remains hosted on our servers and opens in new tab when your users click on your Facebook button.

This might not be the most elegant way to use forms on Facebook but at least you can be sure that the form will always be accessible and viewable on all devices.

Showcase, promote, and sell

Now that you know how easy it is to embed your forms on the platforms you use to showcase your products and services, there’s nothing standing in your way to selling them on these platforms. If your goal is to sell online, learn how to optimize your payment forms to get more sales.

Connected data flows

Ultimately, there’s more you can do with your forms after you scatter them around the Internet and while you’re waiting for the entries to start flowing in. EmailMeForm offers integration of forms with 3rd party apps to make your data flow there automatically.

That’s all it takes to share your forms on different websites and platforms and connect the data with your favorite apps. Good luck with setting up your online business with EmailMeForm.
